Are you a pianist or string player ready to take your artistry to the next level? The Music Society of San Miguel Summer Program is an intensive, week-long experience that blends musical excellence, holistic training, and global artistic connection in the cultural heart of Mexico.

 

Piano Seminar 2025 – Music Society of San Miguel
Dates: August 2–9, 2025
Location: Hotel La Morada, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico

 

Who Can Apply?

Level: Intermediate to advanced piano students
Junior Division: Under 18 (may attend with parents or guardians)
Young Artists: Ages 18 to 25
Artist Fellowship: Ages 26 and older

 

What’s Included?

  • Exclusive recital by Gile Bae (August 8)

  • Masterclasses and private lessons with MCS artists

  • Daily workshops and supervised practice (4 hours/day)

  • Special coaching with Paulina Derbez

  • International competition (August 6)

  • “RISING STARS” Showcase (August 9)

  • Shared accommodation and daily breakfast

  • Partial scholarships available for outstanding talent

 

How to Apply

Prepare the following documents:

  • Motivation letter (max. 500 words)

  • Updated CV or artistic bio

  • Repertoire list: 3 pieces (Baroque/Classical, Romantic/post-1900, free choice)

  • Recommendation letter from your teacher (in English or Spanish)

Then:

  1. Complete the application form

  2. Pay the application fee at the end of the form

  3. Wait for confirmation

Deadline: June 30, 2025

Costs

  • Application fee: $25 USD | $500 MXN (non-refundable)

  • Program tuition: $1,500 USD (international) | $30,000 MXN (Mexico residents)

  • Partial scholarships available
